Bill McNeney, former FIS safety systems & water injection specialist for Alpine Canada will be doing a presentation on Friday, October 12, 6 – 9 pm at Sports Yukon. On the agenda is the proper installation of ‘B’ netting and addressing of safety systems relevant to Mt Sima. This is a free event hosted by Alpine Yukon. All are invited.
B–Netting is a netting/fencing device used in many professional-level competitions, mostly for races. It provides catchment in case of a fall at high speed and is used extensively at Mount Sima. This training can also be applied if you want to help with high-level competition events.
