This course will cover both Nordic and alpine disciplines. Details are being worked out. In addition to the weekend sessions, there will also be an evening session, tentatively planned for February 20.
The course is 16 hours and includes in-class and on-snow portions.The course will also count towards first aid instructing certification if interested in that. As you may have noticed, the patrol is short-handed when it comes to instructors, so we could really use your help! With more instructors, we will be able to share the load more and get people certified earlier in the season next year.
Instructor training is a great life skill. This will build knowledge and skills that will help prepare you as a leader, whether in your work life or on the patrol.
