    • You should be able to find a sign up button on the event page when you’re logged in. When you click it, you’ll be added to the list of attendees. I’ll keep bringing improvements for mobile devices when time permits it. Cheers!

        • The closed thing is a pain because I have tried 2 or 3 times the night before and it was there. I don’t really see the point of having a cutoff time. This occured at 3pm yesterday afternoon and I definately couldn’t see the booking thing on my phone. You’ve put a lot of work into this Tim and I think it’s great, just a couple of glitches from a floater perspective. I can’t make the whole day today anyways as we forgot about a kid commitment we can’t skip. I’ll be up there for a few hours and will carry a radio. Try again another time and once our holiday plans are solid I’ll be there the other Fridays. Had a great day yesterday!

          • I debated where I should reply to this one (reply here, email or open a new topic in the Site dev group) and I figure it’ll be easier here.

Thank you for your feedback Heather. For reference, the booking cutoff time is 12:00 AM the day of the event.

The first reason for the booking cutoff is because it is the default way some of the tools I used for the site behave. It would use precious time dedicated to other features to modify this default behavior.

The second reason is to allow team leaders to have a better idea of who will be showing up for a day ahead of time. I believe it is reasonable to have people book at least 12 hours ahead of the event. Nothing prevents someone from showing up for a Sima shift even if they are not scheduled. That being said, the best practice is still to register for the event.

If your experience doesn’t match the expected behavior of the website, please describe the times you tried to signup, if you were logged in and any other relevant information.

            Cheers
